How do you work plaid? Well aside from wearing it with jeans, you can dress it up with leggings and either 3-4 inch sandals or boots. I would suggest wearing a newsboy cap and long dangle silver earrings if your wanting to get this look. Plaid doesn’t have to be boring or confusing, it can be rocker chic or summertime fun depending on what you do with it. If you don’t want to wear leggings or jeans, consider shorts. This is an excellent alternative that you can pair up with flat sandals to create a stylish laid back look without much effort.
